Here's a WIP of a pixel-city-thingamabob I've been working on lately...

Please give some C&C, and perhaps some ideas for more building as well

Damn, you sure picked a weird shape for the piece.  Pixel cities are so played.  Why don't you widen the road a smidge and do a pixel super highway?  Like a mini-train set except with cars.

The window in the cafe is very hard to make out and the trees don't look to scale unless they're still saplings. The roof appears to blend in witht the road above and where exactly do you pull over your car to eat at this lovely cafe? I'm hungry.

You actually plan your cities? Damn.. that'd be a smart thing to do... mine just seem to grow until I get bored of them.

Anyways Blue, you've got some dark noncontrasting lines in this bad boy. I would lighten up on them so we can see what really going in this pic. Also the edges of the building that are coming outwards are greatly enchanced and more pleasing to the eye when using a lighter shade of the buildings colour. Also, why is there a cafe at an entrance of a tunnel? Why not make it into a toll booth or something like that.. mayve a border corsing.. then you could make a duty-free store so I could go buy some cheap booze... mmm cheap
