Started work on these, pully doesnt look right :( I still have to make an intake manifold, turbocharger, carbs and other small engine components. Posting it as an animated gif.

I think I should make the valve cover grey scale again. I also dont know which supercharger looks better?

This would be much easier if you made separate pics of the parts instead of the animation. Now it's impossible to take a closer look at stuff without importing it into an editing program.

Hahaha, wankel.

I'm afraid to say anything; I know nothing of the innards of them motorised veehikkles. The supercharger, I think, is supposed to look grooved. Despite the fact that I can tell that it wants to be groved, it doesn't really look like it is.

Also, the pulley looks a little wonky. Not sure what's up there, but then again, I don't know what it should look like, so...

You should make a complete ISO engine at that scale, with moving parts.    Are these going to be an icon set, or just playing around?

Sab is right about the superchargers.  I looked at mine and the grooves are a little deeper.

I think the pulley looks off because you aren't using the correct ISO angles on it.

Yeah, that's probably it... Take a look at the tutorial posted http://www.pixeljoint.com/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=301 - here , it's a good way for making perfect iso circles :)

its going to be a set hopefully, If i can ever finish these I might do wheels next?

Not all superchargers look the same some are flat on top, some have grooves some are just two round lobes and some look like turbochargers (centrifugal superchargers) I have an eaton m90 and it doesnt perfectly match either of the images I made. I just want to find some middle ground.

I know the pully is kind screwey looking :( thnx for the link ill try to fix it

thnx for the input guys ill try to get some more done today not sure how im going to pull off the turbocharger (the tourus is going to kill me :(  )
