CHALLENGE: Show Yo Emoness

../../../../p/12253.htm - FrostPumpkin challenges you to pixel an abstract feeling or emotion.
It can be anything, an abstract work, an allegory, just show your emotional nature by pixeling an abstract feeling or emotion.

Rules:
Canvas Size: Minimum 100x100
Colors : 16 colors max but you can't use any grey or neutralizers
Transparency : none
Animation : allowed

CHALLENGE RULES

Participants have until this upcoming Sunday at midnight (12AM Pacific) to /pixels/submit_icons.asp'>submit their entry (strict). Don't forget to check the 'Submit to weekly challenge' checkbox.
Only new pixels allowed.
Open to all members.
Posting WIPs in this thread or in new threads in the /forum/forum_topics.asp?FID=8'>WIP section is highly encouraged, but ONLY SUBMIT YOUR FINAL ART.

CHALLENGE JUDGING

Every Sunday at midnight (12AM Pacific) the previous week's entries are judged.
Every week a new voting poll will be posted for previous week's entries.
Winner announced the following week.

CHALLENGE PRIZES/GOODIES

Top three finishers will receive an award displayed in your PJ gallery profile for all to see and envy.
Top finisher gets to call the following week's challenge...sweet.
'Participation' ribbons will be given for all who enter.
No matter what happens you get challenged :)

this will be the first weekly challenge i will be participating in. I will tell my idea right away so nobody can steal it or say i stole it :P
im going to make a broken heart(yh really emo) that is bleeding and lying on the ground.

I recommend that before you get too carried away with pixelling you should rethink your idea a bit. Right now you've chosen the most obvious idea possible. Sit down for 15 mins, get a piece of paper and write down as many other ideas you can possibly think of.

Often your first idea isn't the best, try and come up with a few more interesting ideas.

this is a peace of what im comming up with, a WIP.

and if you'd like to, I would like some fun ideas, for a wierd and abstract bacground... cus, after drawing the swallow I saw that it had to be abstract, and im kind of stuck now

That's what I was wondering, as well as clarification on the grays. Does the no grays rule mean that we can't use colors with 0 saturation? And as for neutralizers...I'm way lost. Haha.

i don't really know what it means, but it popped in my head and it sayed there.
It(might have) to do that my cousin died a couple of weeks ago, and that heart is him, flying away. or flying arround in a happier place.

The emotion that came into my head was Acceptance..

No idea why, i was doodling in Environmental Studies, and i drew a picture of a stickman poiting to the hills.. so i scanned it, and thought i could add it to this comp..

I'll add some background, and change his head :P

I thought of a theartical mask with a red ribbon, the mask symbolizes confused emotions and the ribbon symbolizes wrapped up in love....here's my progress.

Is it ilegal? Nonetheless, you are absolutely, right. It was made in photoshop, but not only the background, the whole thing.
I didnt know it was ilegal. T_T
But we can turn that from accusing to "pointing it out". :D

Ah, about the colors I counted 15 initally, and specified 16 on photoshop on the conversion, in case it blurred anything =(
5 Beiges for the penicl's body
3 Burple for the BG
3 Pinks for the rubber
2 Blues for the paper
2 (black and white)

If its ilegal, I withdraw my entry with an apology.
Though, I would like to learn why...

Ok lets get something right here, pixel art can be done with photoshop...the way minipick wrote it,made me feel that using photoshop was a nono....

oh and if the backing is pixeled, its fine :)
