welp, heres what iv been working on lately.
I took my 2 newest characters just cause, for no reason, and wanted to practice drawing heads at different angles.

I like the cow alot better than the monkey.
But any crits or comments would be greatly appreciated.
first time iv drawn heads at multiple angles. Its usually only front or 3/4 front i draw.
So lemme know.

Nice. Very nice style. Although on the side head of CaptainCow (pardon if I got the name wrong) the nostril is off. If you look on the front view the nostrils are pointing to the front (towards the viewer) therefore you won't see inside the nostril on the side view.  That's really all I have other than some of your proportions on the MonkeyMate views (especially the hair). Good job

EDIT: I looked into my crit some more (otherwise, I looked into CaptainCow's nostrils for a while  ) And I see now that the nostrils are pointing a bit to the side but the side view of the cow's nostril is a bit too exagerated anyway. So I still stand true.

Thanks Zoomrix.
Iv been looking at them myself and see exactly what your talking about.
However, the problem I am facing, is that I really dont know how else to draw it.
Iv basically come to a blank when trying to figure out the proper proportions for the side view.
So if you have any suggestions by all means please make.

Heh MonkeyMate is just bad. I cranked those all off in probably half the time as CaptainCow. I was more or less experimenting with him rather than proportioning properly.

But My main focus here is CaptainCow. So if someone has a suggestion on how to fix that nostril, twould be great.

Well, in my un-professional opinion, you should make the nostril look like the one on our left in the three forths view, but at a slightly larger angle.

Good job flaber on trying to develop characters thoroughly... the poses look good in general.

The 3/4 front view of the monkey has a few issues. The ear is too far forward on the head, the hair doesn't sit right and the way the neck meets the head looks ackward.

Wannahlakujuu: hmmm i think your right about that. Seems a bit better on my edited sketch.

sedgemonkey: Tis been my plan on developing the characters better. I highly doubt if you noticed, but in the past as soon as I finished a character that would be the end to him, never again really did I retouch. So i figure this would be good practice and perhaps good on developing animation techniques, which everyone needs seeing how few there are.

Aww yes. the monkey. I was in a debate about the ear. On the front view I have it attached to the eye area, so i was determining whether to attach it or not. Thanks for the help:)
Then the hair. That is my downfall, im working on it all again, cause i just couldnt get it right. But thanks for specifically pointing him out. now i know what to look for.

Im to believe I can let this thread die now, unless someone else wants to post. I got what i seeked. this was for personal gain so im not planning on posting an update. Thanks for all the help.
