I made this for the pixelwar over at RMXP (not a good site IMO).
 4 colors used.

Hello Emtch, here is my critique :) its head is quite long, and lions do not have shoulders like that. The head is above the body, all thats between them is a neck. I would remove the border, it is easier to work without it, so you can adjust the size of everything even more and not accidentally draw over or whatever, and when you are done you can rethink if you want that border back or not :) ------------- |

It's a male lion, female lions don't have a mane.
What shoulders do you mean, lollige? I haven't made any shoulders on it.
Or is the mane very mistakable for shoulders due to the lack of detail?

| The mane is not readable. It either looks like this is one beefy assed linebacker of a lion, or there is random stuff in the background. Make the mane go over top of the head, and that will help clarify, also give it some border possibly along the sides, or at the bottom. |
