The thing that really pops out is that her arm seems almost boneless- make her bend at the elbow. Also, the arm is travelling far too slowly in comparison the legs. Look at vids, family members or yourself in the mirror to see what I mean: e.g. Left arm forward at the same time as right leg and vice versa. I'm hopless at animating so I can't give any crits on that side of things. The PA itself is great though, keep it up!

Hey Nessiah,

I think the legs are pretty good, but your arms are the main problem. You should get up and walk around, and see how you move your arms. On your sprite, the lower arms is following the upper arm, which makes it appear that it is limp and boneless, and just being pushed around the the upper arm. Really, we swing our arms when we walk, so the upper arm is swinging like a pendulum in an arc, and the lower arm is swinging in an even bigger arc, also like a pendulum. Look at this reference:

This should help you see the correct movement of the arm. In the reference the arm is exaggerated of course, but you don't have to make it swing quite so much, and the principle still applies.

Good luck.

Thank you Nacl! I'll fix the arm
Here's supposed to be a running and hit pose

I'll try to fix them fast :)

Hmm, you've still got weird stuff going on with the arms in the run. In general, I think the best way to do arms is on the contact frames, the arms are at their highest point. Then, on the high point and recoil they are slightly lower then the contact position. On passing, the upper arm is vertical along the body. This gives them a good pendulum motion.

Also, I would try and keep the bobbing only vertical. In your run, she is bobbing up and forward, and it makes her look twitchy. I love the individual sprites though, they are of high quality!

It's better overall, but look at this frame:

Her arm is bent soo unnaturally. I think that the far arm is fine but you should really look at the arms on the pic Salty posted- even copy+modify if you have to. (As it is it almost looks as if she's throwing something away behind her!)

I like the running, but she is only using one leg to the max!
Make her use both legs! put some power in 'm, she is in a hurry!

That's better but on that frame where the arm is most forward it still flicks up weirdly. The head bouncing you've got is good but it's not as dynamic(?) as the rest of the body (Or so it seems to me) I'm unsure how to remedy it, just giving you something elso to worry about

I believe it's because the hair is not bouncing :3
