Yes, thats more how I like it :)
However, at the end you should go for what YOU like :)
Compare, and see what you find looking better, dithered or not, and why!

I preferred the dithered one as well.

I think it could use a very slight highlight. Careful not to overdo it.

to choice dither or non dither version depends only on the texture you want to give to the skin of your creature(if you want to give a texture, of course. otherwise just leave it plain and cellshaded). i personally prefer the dither one too as it gives it a more organic feel.

but in any case dithering is not a must in the shading process, keep that in mind.

e:fixed.

Thanks a lot!

I can't really decide wich one of em' to keep, they both have their own charm.
I tried to dither gur nr 2 again, but he looked like number 3... again.

And here's... something

It really depends on what look your going for, they both look equally good but look completely different lol make him pink and put some shorts on and call him Patrick from spongebob

Ha-ha...
He doesn't look like a starfish too me, I prefer http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Flubber_%28film%29 - Flubber.

Perhaps I should add more colours to it?
Can't put my finger on it but the cell shading doesn't do it. I think I keep him the way he is atm, if I make any further changes I'll let you know.

Thanks again!
