Edit:I am working I swear

Edit again: I hated the original skin color XD

Is this style of eye ok or should I trash it?

Mods if you have to link this out ok....This is how I do my projects. This is the first project I have ever posted this early on...Why this early? Because I need you to catch blatant problems....This is my new layout...I want it to rule. And I need to put my tablet down.

YAY for harlots

Wow cool. This will look great when finished. Nice line art is always a pleasure. Her left eyebrow seems somewhat out of place though, I think its to do with the eyes. I mean the lower eyebrow would make the eye slightly shorter, because the skin isnt stretched unlike the raised one, try it in the mirror..

You're welcome . Sometimes I think I nitpick though

Hey, I think we all think that. You don't, not from what I see, at least.

Pleeeeeease don't keep the mirrored hand. This is looking like its gonna turn out to be a nice peice, and personally I think the mirrored hand would take from it a little.

Actually, it might not look too bad, cause you're probably going to work with a set lightsource... but I still think it's a good idea to not have it mirrored.

And hey, if you wanted to be nitpicky, you could point out that the smirk would probably raise the bottom left edge of the (our) right eye a pixel or two

Umm if you can't give suggestions please don't post or even state the obvious.. :D Btw the circle isn't mirrored, there is a circle tool ;)

I'm not sure if this is even a comment..

I've been holding out on crits because it's still really basic... I keep checking back to see if you have more of it done... how's it coming along?  I agree that you should probably try drawing two different hands, just to switch it up a bit.. but it might not even matter.

Nice update! Glad to see you're still moving along with it . The eye colour I think is great, but I think you could be doing more with them, it seems like just blocks of colour and lines over it in a way. That white line seems to look unnatural or something. Try going for a more reflective kind of eye if you want, I think that'd look great.

Skin shading seems very smooth at this point, I'd just advise be mindful of the bones.

Keep it up!

Maybe you could put some reflexes on the right part of the iris and of
the white part of the eye (thats where the light comes from right?)
and erase that white line at the bottom of the black part. Otherwise is
fantastic. Keep up.

Nice update.

The smile is a little awkward and looks a little unnatural. I have trouble with that too the shading on the lips looks nice though, and I am liking this a lot, just work on the shape of the lips.

edit: on second thought, maybe you don't even need the lips, or maybe just making them thinner. In stuff this style you can't really see defined lips. I think maybe them not being so red and being thinner would improve it a lot.

yeah, i think thin lips would add a better effect of scaryness as
opposed to slutty red-lipstickness , this is coming along nicely
can wait for another update

Can someone explain what you mean about the lips? I am willing to try things but I just am not understanding....this isn't really supposed to be scary

i think they should be a bit thinner, they are very well shaded, but
you cold try a few different shapes

on.

well I am trying to merge cartoony, realistic, and animeish into one style because I draw that way pixels are a little different from paper

Yes shark said it a little better than I did  the lips should look real, but anime-ish as you said. can't wait for the update.

edit: and while it is not really supposed to be scary, the thin lips would add to the mysterious sortof eerie feel to the pic.
