i'm working on an avatar for this site. it's one of those doll type stuffed animal like thingies of which i have no clue what the correct name is but which i have liked for as long as i can remember because they are faceless and kinda freaky. they always remind me of pierrot. i have no online reference, because i would not know how on earth they're called. and he's flying edit: i thought i was done for today but ended up doing some more and updated the pic |

i think i got all the stray pixels and i changed the colourslide. thanks for the tutorial. i seem to be getting a lot of help from you jalonso... i tis highly apreciated. i reduced it to 9 colours and transperancy and though i don't feel like it's finished i really don't know what else to do |

Much better, but can still be improved more. For example the pink on the back leg should be purple #2(next darkest.) It would be nice looking if you worked a face into it since it looks incomplete. The line around the face is quite jaggy, use the lighter purples to smooth that out. On the hat the highlight is so uniform it almost looks like a line...its not but but its not interesting either. One other thing for now is the ball at the end of the hat...its pointless in the same shade of purples. Change or delete and pointy up the tip??? ------------- |

i like the pointy tip. it's better that way i agree. removed the pink on the back leg. i'm not gonna put in a face thogh, i had one of these as a kid and to me it's whole appeal was the lack of a face. i used to think they wher stuffed animal ghosts or something, i love the creepyness. i tried fixing the yagged line but i'm not convinced yet. and i see what you mean in the hat but i'm not yet sure about what to do with it.  |
