Considering your light source under his beak looks wrong. I think you need one more black shade, and need to angle the shadows more. ------------- |

Hey, this is really cool and stylish! But I think the key to this style is nice clean lines and and really nice AA, both of which are lacking a bit. Look at this edit:
See how much smoother and cleaner it looks? Try to shoot for more gradual curves and more consistent line weights, and especially work on your AA. It takes more than single dots of intermediate color on long gentle slopes. The AA in my edit is far from perfect, but it might give you a rough idea where you can go from here. ------------- |
