We are Optional Quest and we are trying to finish up a flash game where the programming is 90%
done. We still need to make levels, but it's sort of dependent on art. You can play a demo of the game
here:
http://www.optionalquest.com/stuff/ChickenGame.html - http://www.optionalquest.com/stuff/ChickenGame.html
WASD - tank movement
Left click - Fire machine gun.
Space - Fire cannon/Flamethrower/Rocket Launcher/Radiation Emitter
The current demo is a combo of temporary art and art by another artist.
What needs to be done:
- Redo the tank to fit artist's theme
- 4 different weapons (the cannon will change accordingly)
- Mounted machine gun
- 3-4 basic tilesets, tile size can be as large or small. Preferably
large as it cuts down work for map editing. Because of the object
system, we do not need very many tiles, essentially they are just fancy
backgrounds.
- A few objects per tileset to spice up the environment.
- Save beacon
- 5 types of simple enemies, 1 boss
- Projectiles
- Interface (Menus, textbox, title screen, etc..)
- Anything else that might need to be changed to fit the game. Maybe a
title image or a few still background images for "cut scenes".
Since
it's a flash game, we don't have a big budget. We're offering $300-$700
depending on the quality of work. Future work will be offered if this
works out. We aren't very big so we really want to keep the art at around $500.
Please email mailto:williamliu@optionalquest.com - williamliu@optionalquest.com with a previous works or CV.
Thanks.
