Here is my picture as of now (11/14/2009 5:40AM GMT)

I am using this as a practice for using a small pallet, extreme dithering (compared to my normal uses), and long gradient dithering. Just thought I could use some advice to improve my techniques.

My personal take on hyper dithering is to keep the ramps mellow and smooth. Your colors have a fair amount of contrast so it looks a bit like pixel pudding.

I get what you mean about the colors, but how can I improve the dithering?

I don't think its the dithering thats the issue since that's what you're practicing on.
I meant that WHEN you extreme dither then the ramps should have less contrast than you have now. Not that it should it just my take on extreme dithering... mini edit coming in 5 minutes.

That is extreme dithering XD

I don't like that much dithering. You could leave the edges of field of colors dithered and fill in some areas to minimize it.

Other than that quick fix, is there anything else that you would recommend?
