As you can see it's pretty nearly done =/ But I was hoping I could get some advice on how to improve it before I submit. I'm struggling with the palette--never worked with just eight colours before!--but I think I'm approaching okay-ness as far as that goes--the lightest tone and the one right next to it are troubling to me though.
The thing that bothers me most is the floor cross-section--I dunno how to make it look more... floor-y! Halp?

Great idea, layout and concept. I think if you over-do and overwork the floor then the rats will be overpowered. Keep it simple. E: nvm, its fine. ------------- |

| You're the second person to tell me not to overthink it, and I think both of you are probably right :) I didn't think about how overworking the floor would overpower the mice, either... I think learning to leave well enough alone is one of my big failings when it comes to the pixel art I actually finish. I will attempt to let wiser heads prevail this time, I guess! |
