CHALLENGE: Best. Challenge. Ever.

In celebration of the 20th Anniversary of http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Simpsons - The Simpsons your challenge is to create your own wacky Simpsons character with their own distinguishing apperance and personality traits.

Make sure to tell us all about your new character in your submission description.

ONLY ORIGINAL CHARACTERS!!!

Canvas size - Max 100 (width) x 150 (height).
Colors - Max 20.
Animation - Optional.
Transparency - Optional.

CHALLENGE RULES

  • Participants have until this upcoming Sunday at midnight (12AM Pacific) to /pixels/submit_icons.asp'>submit their entry (strict). Don't forget to check the 'Submit to weekly challenge' checkbox.
  • Only new pixels allowed.
  • Open to all members.
  • Posting WIPs in this thread or in new threads in the /forum/forum_topics.asp?FID=8'>WIP section is highly encouraged, but ONLY SUBMIT YOUR FINAL ART.

CHALLENGE JUDGING

  • Every Sunday at midnight (12AM Pacific) the previous week's entries are judged.
  • Every week a new voting poll will be posted for previous week's entries.
  • Winner announced the following week.

CHALLENGE PRIZES/GOODIES

  • Top three finishers will receive an award displayed in your PJ gallery profile for all to see and envy.
  • Top finisher gets to call the following week's challenge...sweet.
  • 'Participation' ribbons will be given for all who enter.
  • No matter what happens you get challenged :)

Will have a cockatoo on shoulder, hence facial scars and head ornamentation. Not exactly Simpsons style of shading, but I guess this is pretty much an AA challenge? :P

Awesome! persoaly,I don't like the Simspons,but I really like making characters! :D My simpson could be...a pokemon trainer? a sushi deliver? lol. Can we make fantasy stuff like...fairy-simpsons,or elf-simspong,or vampire-simpsons,etc. ? and multiple submissions? 'cause I've got tons of ideas!
p.s. happy B-day simpsons,I've never liked you but...kk ^ ^

It has to at least look like a Simpsons character. That does not qualify, in my eyes.

Ok, thanks for the clarification. What I had in mind was a Simpsonator, not a human/animal character. Any suggestions on what to change to make it more of a Simpsons character and yet keep it terminatorish - drop the lighting/shading aside from yellowish, huge white circles for eyes? Quick example:

i would definitily voe for that first one you did. well providing there was a background. also the chat=racter looks like a robot but why make a robot in yellow. professor frink makes them all the time and its always in chrome colors.
