Hello everyone!
Im trying to make some pixelart but Im not so good at lineart and shading, can you please help me out? Some advice to start with? Tried to shade the hoodie but didnt turn out good at all, so I left it all grey back

Also the hand is hard to make right, hope you can give some tips about that one too...

hehe... the hoodie isn't what i would call typical about this piece...

the best advice i can give you right now is to find a reference. my preference actually goes to making your own reference. have somebody make a picture  of you from this angle while you take this pose (you don't have to actually snort coke though). if you are at a loss for what you actually did wrong (most artists i know actually immediatly exclaim eveerything is wrong, which is very counterproductive) try too treat it as one of those 'spot the ten differences' puzzles and write down 10 distinct diferences between the reference and your picture and start working on those. when you feel you have adequatly adressed those issues, look again and spot ten more

i can tell you in any way that the forearm of this man is freakishly long and his hand seems a little small.
