Hey, im new to this forum but i think it looks quite interesting, i have been pixelling for a few months now and i could use some advice on this latest peice.

Ahrim the blighted

The drawing is based on a game i play called runescape, i mainly need to design a background as that gradient is only temporary.

I'm new too so welcome to the board. :]

One of the best things you can do to improve your work is to tweak around with the proportions of his body.  His right arm looks bigger and longer than the left one. Try to bring the shoulder muscle in closer to the torso. If you need a good reference look at your arms in a mirror with that pose.

The feet look kind've round and could use some work. Look at some pictures of shoes to match the shape more closely to reality.

You doing pretty good for starting only a few months ago.

It is a good star tbut there are some age issues.

His Hair 50-60 yrs old.
His arms 20-30 yrs old.
His torso about 15-18 yrs old.

The shooes look like baby booties. Make the bottom (soles) flatter.

Very nice stsrt though, human figures are hard to draw.

The weakest point of this(and with many other human pixels) is most definitely the anatomy. It's completely wrong. I highly suggest you study anatomy.

yeah, anatomy is definitely the issue here.  There are some ok sites out there, just check out google.

I might also suggest removing that background. Using that gradient boosted your colours up to 378! Way too much for a simplly coloured piece IMO. That and gradients aren't pixel art
