I wanted to create some scene including ocean. But I found it would be difficult.

So I decided to make river scene with watersides and (trees,....)

But colours don't fit together. Should I go on? or remake it (If I should, what could be better?)

I feel the shading of the mountain (quite large for a river bank?) doesn't suggest a definite light source or volume, it's kind of pillowy and noisy. The mountain pops up so much it looks like an alien finger caught on lens while taking a photo. :) I would suggest having definite light source and working with large contrasts (at least in the beginning).
The mountain looks out of place also because the water has no reflection or shadow of the mountain.
Here's a quick edit, tried to throw the light source beyond the mountains/closer to the horizon:

Don't forget references - although not entirely the same thing, images of coves could prove to be helpful. For example:

Note how light doesn't scatter all around in a pillowy manner, the shadows are sharp and deep.

Thanks for your help. I tried to do it differently.

Edit: Ouuuch, it looks like my first post. oh no :D , but if I leave on the shadow side only 1 colour, it'll be too simple ( I think) :D

There's something about the foreground water that is bugging me. I think it's too noisy or something. I love the way you have the bg water and the light source off of the mountains. Keep it up.
