PHALLUS!

 | evincarofautumn @ 7/17/2008 7:21:02 PM commented on Commodore synth I love this. You obviously put a lot of effort into it...and aspirin, perhaps?
And absinthe is totally my alcoholic beverage of choice. I mean, it's just so steampunk. How could I not?

 | evincarofautumn @ 7/17/2008 6:42:43 PM commented on Oculus Redux Ha. I guess it's just the mood in which I found myself this morning. ^_^
Thanks so much for your comments. Several artists' galleries have been helpful, including yours...even if I didn't entirely come through on this piece, I think I'll do better in the future because of what I've learned. Anyway, I'm done looking at this for a long while!
Perhaps next time I should choose a less complex palette...

 | evincarofautumn @ 7/17/2008 12:42:36 PM commented on Oculus Thanks for your comments. I think I mostly just needed to get away from it for a while. I've gone back to it—taking some inspiration from your work, Mr. Scene —to smooth it out. So far it's looking good, and radically different: I may have to end up posting the new one as a separate icon!

 | evincarofautumn @ 7/16/2008 4:00:43 PM commented on Broccoli monster This is a very strong idea. I think it would be perfect if the lines were a bit bolder and you were to add some AA. You can do it!

 | evincarofautumn @ 7/6/2008 10:16:52 AM commented on Chumchum 2.0 (click for full view) Nice. I like that the animation is dynamic, but the character still has a lot of weight. My only critiques are that there are a few stray pixels here and there (esp. on the edges of his limbs) and that the red lighting from below doesn't shift with his rotation.
Cave Story-style shading for the win, though. You get major props for the body.

 | evincarofautumn @ 4/24/2008 8:45:17 AM commented on G# Logo AA is not really possible with my constraints. What do you mean by "detached"?
 |
|---|
 | evincarofautumn @ 4/24/2008 8:44:02 AM commented on G# Logo Well, I wasn't so sure about the triangle. I can't very well antialias the edges, considering that I'm working within NES constraints.
