klav Bio:
klav was born in New Haven. He lives just six miles from the very spot he was born. He has so much civic pride of his community that he has the nickname of the town "ELM CITY" tattooed on his fore-arms. He is a proud father and a loving husband.
Daily he works as a museum preparator the Yale Center for British Art at Yale University. klav graduated from the Hartford Art School with an undergraduate degree in sculpture. In 2003, klav owned and operated a commercial gallery space in new haven. He has been working on a series of paintings using a pixelated style since then. He has shown work in several US cities and had a solo show in NYC in 2005. Occasionally he still curates group shows (normally revolving around a similar theme or size) at various galleries around CT.
When not doing artwork, klav spends his time restoring vintage italian motor scooters, skateboarding, riding his fixed gear bicycle, playing extremely large amounts of videogames, and trying to get his 6 month old daughter to like listening to SLAYER.
