Hey Pheno! Thanks much for the tip! ^_^ I agree, thicker lines would probably have looked a bit better and I'll definitely give it a go next time/as I play around with pixels more. I think I was scared of making lines too thick here. Also, thank you incredibly much for the compliments! Means the world. 

Very cute! The effort in this piece is really evident. You did a really good job for your first time! It's a bit tough to give tips because it's hard to tell what's error and what's a stylistic choice, but for future reference you might want to thicken up color-on-color lines like those in your hair. Making those lines more chunky gives them character, and it makes the implied texture and forms look nicer, in my opinion.
