After many years away from pixel art I've been practising grass and dirt tiles for the last week or so and feel pretty happy to be back.

I know there are some jaggies and it doesn't tile perfectly but for my first completed attempt I consider it done.

Hopefully I can submit a whole, cleaner practise tileset in the next few weeks.

Funny you say that about the ground colour, it cleary shows my thematic confusion. It was at one point going to be a grass to sand to beach tileset but I realised I needed more practise on different grass types or it would look weird.

Yeah, RM MV autotiles are killing me right now, I'm think I'm gonna work on a non-auto tile set. 48 x 48 feels weird too...

overall this is pretty good
but the color of the dirt feels a bit Odd it has the color you'd expect from sand but the way the tile is made makes it feel like it is supposed to be dirt
well you can just call it sand and resolve the problem without doing much Hehe
judging from the tile layout I assume this is for RPG maker?
