I had a hard time to think about a picture for the weekly challenge.

But now I can show you the result of my first PixelArt. (not counting one or two atempts in photoshop, then I was still at school)

"As a child the world was wonderful.
You found joy in the smallest things.
You had so much energy you could play
and fool around the whole day.
And you dreamed of your future as an adult.

Now you grown up.
The society transformed you.
And the live twisted you.
Some few people had a big impact on your live.
Now you dream of your childhood.
The time of energy.
The time of fun and joy.

How did you grew up?
Did the cociety changed you into a stiff tree?
Or did you grew up to a tree of unique personality?"

Alternative though:
"Do you stay true to your inner child or fuse into the big tree of  responsebility, money and work?"

Edit: "I hope i do not have a pixel in a 17th color somethere i have not seen. but i checked in PS save for web and it said 16 colors." >.<

Edit:
tryed to clean up the mentioned gras

grass before the cleaning to compare

Edit:

I hope it is a little bit more to pixelart now >.<
but I will watch some tutorials for pixeling gras and other stuff too >.<

CuriousBeefJerky

thank you. I need to see around and learn how to put some pixels in the realy right place.

it is not easy but in the other hand.
but placing the 1, 2 or 3 pixels at the best position for a smile
or the pixels for an eye...
with a little experience this ist much faster than drawing a real eye in non pixel art XD

i just need to get more used to it and learn some more fundamentals now and basic stuff.
unless the next challenge sounds too interesting and fun :)

EDIT:
I'm to the birthday of my mum today and not sure if there will be enough time to fix the top gras before the challenge ends >.<
this time zones are quite tricky to see through.
it is actually 9:45 at my place :D

I like how this turned out. The young dryad is cute and seems full of life, but the old dryad at the bottom of the tree seem at peace. The top one seems a bit concerned or bored.

All in all a good piece, but I agree the grass seems a bit random and scribbled. It's okay to draw out a piece like that, but to make it pixel art, you need to go back through that and clean it up at the pixel level.

It is a challenge though, so I understand it's hard to go through all of it in a short time, but a few small changes can go a long way.  This is a really great piece for your first piece, and you'll only get faster and better with practice, so keep at it!

You can make as many edits as you want before the challenge closes, and after the voting is done. During the week-long voting period, it's probably best not to make any changes.

is it allowed to still clean up some things till the end of the challenge?
i'm quite new here and this is my first pixelart post ^^'

You don't need to worry about a 17th colour, as you apparently have 15 colours in this, not 16 xP

The top of the grass looks rather scribbly and noisy, with lots of isolated pixels. It could use some clean-up.
