palette - witching hour
got a bit experimental with the color blending. I like some things, others maybe less so, but overall I had fun working on this.
next time I plan on using a larger palette - that way I can finally quit checkerboarding everything :)
thanks a lot! it was really a lot of fun to do. my roommate was reminded of newspaper half tones.
thank you! her hair is something that I am in love with and love to bring out and show off in my art.
thank you so much! I'm glad that you enjoy it!
I really really appreciate the criticism! my biggest challenge moving from acrylic to pixels has been blending and I don't think I quite have it figured out yet. I stipple a lot in my paintings and it is something I need to grow out of for this medium! I am focusing on color clusters rather than dithering for my next piece. I hope that it turns out!
Huh. Very "experimental" (which is NOT, in this instance, a euphemism for "bad" lol). I think the dithering works best on the mahogany-ish color on the neck, and where it adds texture to the denim. The face looks kind of messy with all the excess dots, arguably. But this is cool.
This looks amazing!
Very nice! I also really like the style of her hair :)
Oh, nice! It looks interesting. Art-pop.
