Some of the orange colours are next-to-indistinguishable from one another. However I think this can work in the benefit of pixelart that attempts to copy comic artwork that has a colour gradient. Zoomed-in the effect still seems to hold up, though the lack of anti-aliasing on the outlines undermines it.
Dude! He's called the ever-lovin' BLUE-eyed Thing! Other than that, this looks fine, although I agree that higher contrast might help. The black linework is very nice.
You've dithered three shades over the front of his face but they're so low contrast I didn't even notice till I zoomed in a lot. I'd either eliminate two of the colours or increase the contrast. Right now they're doing nothing but upping the colour count.
