The blue shadow on the head versus the black shadow of the hat was a conscious decision. The 160x200 resolution with 2:1 pixels and use of 16 or less colours from Amstrad CPC palette are the only Mode 0 restrictions I am aware of. An Amstrad enthusiast contacted me and was able to get the image running on an emulator which is pretty cool. Glad you liked it.
