In my opinion (and at this point I'm probably more of a purist among mods) the huge colour count itself is never a reason of rejection, but rather it could be indication of real reasons, like overusing and not cleaning NPA, inability to control palette, inability of efficient hand pixelling or at least bringing the final product to the state when it is indistinguishable. And even in those cases, I usually ask to try to fix the palette as a practice or, if it is impossible, keep that in mind next time (well, of course if it is not ridiculous, like 1000 colours for a simple sprite).
In this case I know that you are 100 times better than me at hand pixelling and palette control and it is shown even on this piece so this would be silly if I ask you to "try to practice palette control by lowering the colour count on this piece, before we accept".
Begginers+ have much more to learn from this artwork than palette control so I don't see the reason to sent it back for fixes.
And also, thank you for this wonderful artwork. Is that the Moonlight Greatsword? ^^
