Great attention to detail! Really liking the maccaroni and the use of lighting.
The cinematic lighting has a great effect, both this and Seize have a very striking effect of the character outlined in light but their interior details only slightly suggested in the shadow. Environmental detailing is great, taking your time with the subtle gradiation of the light across the wood grain doors paid off nicely.
@Theoden: Yeah bc. this is pure ilustration and pretty far removed from games. A lot of the stylistic decisions I make are just based on having things work in games in multi-context scenarios.
JUst drawing a painting is quite different from it.
Thanks.
@Irenaart: Thanks a lot. I worked on it during after hours for about a week.
Such an amazing piece, the lighting, the textures, everything!
Really cool how you have part of the sword in shadow against the red cape and part of it in the light.
This is one of the most atmospheric pieces I've seen. Everything is so lovingly rendered that you can really feel all the materials and smell the air. Every little area feels like it has a history. You can sense the age of wood and metal of the doors, and the stone on the floor and walls.
Absolutely superb work!
Excellent work. This deviates a bit from your usual style, it threw me off.
I can usually identify your style at first glance but I was happily surprised to see your name :)
I love it.

Gorgeous piece! It looks almost like an old masters painting. Can you tell how long did it take you to finish it?
Nice! The sparingly used saturation and color balance make it a real masterpiece!
