Honestly, as usual it was pure improvisation at the beginning, and later it was just figuring out how to render it. At first I wanted to use just 3 colors, but later I added another one just to get a bit more definition and some interesting supporting details.

absolutely love it. Not familiar with the character but love this "naive" design, and great scenery to represent it!
