good stuff, what df0 said, think about the centre of gravity of the character. also, consider your lightsource, you are almost doing pillowshading here.
Nice character, I especially like the cool winter outfit. My only crit is that his pose is a little tired, kind of like he's about to fall over. Other than that, good job!
