My little mock up of me pretending that I was still in the pixelation tourney...I am a sad little boy. Actually the first part was true, but I also trying an attempt to copy Niss's style, but failed miserably in the end. So I'm not submitting this in the pixeljoint.com activity. Watchya think, folks? Doth is suck much?

I really like this. The use of colour is well executed. I like the dithering you're using in the top right corner. I`ve not seen it done like this before.
I really enjoy this piece. I was going to comment on it at pixelation but I may as well do it here.
As far as the sky aspect of it goes, I think it's not too readable as a sky. I keep mistaking the bottom green and yellow cloud for some sort of aztec monster or chinese dragon. What I view this scene as is the creation of the cosmos or some other extraordinary phenomenon.
The moon almost looks like an afterthought, and I think that to achieve the depth you wanted, another color ramp would be in order. As it is now, the moon looks to be slightly behind the big white cloud and far in front of some fainter clouds in the distance. This is because they all share the same palette, the moon maintains the lighting of the white cloud while meshing with the blues behind it. Which is why I see the moon as being where it is. I know that this is what you were seeking help with most at pixelation so that's my reasoning for the long excerpt on it. :)
As far as technique goes, it's beautiful. There are so many different techniques going on that it creates a sense of wonderment. This plays a big role in my envisioning of this being a creation type of scene. The amount of chaos and harmony fits into that aspect perfectly.
6/6 of course and fav'd so I can jack your impressive array of dithering skills
Doesn't suck at all. Colors are superb! Also nice pattern in top-right. Too bad that the subject is so informal. I might just steal your palette and play with it :)
Green parts look very Niss'ish to me while the blue part at the left top corner seems very BOB'ish. I know you - I was planning to make BOB'ish Osmi to my serie but it's too small for your technique :)
Very much awesomness, and do I spot a Jack Skellington in the moon? ;O

Wow dude. If this were a real painting, I'd hang it on my wall. You've left so much for the viewer to look at, it's amazing! From the vibrancy of colours to the texture and forms in the clouds, you really know how to entice someone. Upon closer inspection I gotta also mention how awesome the dithering is. Most times I can spot dithering because it isn't used so gracefully, but here it's become a smooth mesh into the scene. I'm loving it. You never cease to amaze me :)

The power of the dither is strong in this one.
