Shut up, the name wasn't THAT lame. Anyhow, I realized that if I'm going to pixel an isometric forest... I'll unfortunately have to pixel trees. Now when it comes to realistic detail, I suck. Thus, it's very important for folks like me to figure out ways to try to LOOK talented without really being talented. Did it work? Or is the whole artistic, swirly thing just look terrible?
Either way, looks alright for 10 colors, in my opinion.

Thanks :D I was just curious as to what you thought, I'm trying to improve. And, in the future, perhaps when I present pixels, I should present them as a piece of art unto themselves, and not just 'cut-outs' from my projects.
Yes, sometimes they are needed to make gameplay effective. This is an execption and even white is used too and can look fine. I was speaking here on the pixel on its own and in no way was it an order to change it. Knowing that you prefer this techinique for your project and it was a decision not an oversight...I take my comment back and will throw an extra blue dot on this, your tree and all the coming ones
@ZeroFive1: As you can tell, it was intended. Cubish shapes don't happen like that by accident. If you check out my Gigan Toad, you'll notice that he is very cubish as well. It probably doesn't look as nice as a realistic tree, but it is what it is :) thanks about the textures, it was a real guess.
@jalonso: Thanks :)
I've noticed that in some ISO games they like to stick with the black outline, or at least where the object isn't connecting with anything (probably to represent that)... what do you think about that... Like this? Does it steal from the pixel art, or does it help the scenery when the rooms get busy like that?
This is great :) lots of feedback, I'm on an iso spree, hopefully I'll have more to post.
