I figured, I needed an avatar made by me. :3

Yes, I happen to be one of the people that actually like Pokémon, thank you very much. c: And I find Pikachuu to hold a close place to my heart since I was a wee lass. This time, I tried to pay attention to colour count, and I ended up getting ten colours less than my last work... but, after all, this image is much smaller. I still feel I have a problem with that, and I found that dithering is too dificult on such a small picture.

Heh, at least I tried.

Program used: MS Paint, Artweaver. [For transparency.]

Colours: 16 for composition, 1 for transparency.

It's meant to be light-coloured, hahah. :3 Taking an abstract take on Pikachuu, since it's not that small to start with.

Nice, but they colors are pretty light :).. In real they are a bit darker.. (if you call gameboy/tv real :P)

You don't really need dithering on such a small piece, but your problem is that yourcolors are not optimizely chosen..  the best example is the green on the eye.. nobody would notice it at x1..

Why? because , its value seems exactly the same as the grey of the eyes.. you need to have more difference of value, more contrast in your color then you will be able to reduce a lot your color count..
