hmmm, so I zoomed in and there is dithering and colors that don't even show up at all. I found this example where the dithering style is just about what your are using and it seems to have more depth than yours: http://www.pixeljoint.com/pixelart/3068.htm# I therefore think that this, perhaps, like your kabooglah pixels is more about your color selections and overall contrast that needs some polishing. Obviously, just trying to help and share, not tell you what to do :)
I don't quite get what you mean to say there balls. 50/50 dithering is the basic and most easily made of all the dithering techniques. It is only for this reason that many see it as 'amateur'. Nothing is wrong with it tho.
I do think you should always try at least ''bout |-------|<that much harder' in everything that you do. Art or not. In the event that you read my post as negative. I was defending you, your pixelart and most importantly your progress.
hold on do u mean While the 50/50 pixelling is seen as amateur by many, balls01 is and if so that actually made me wanna try 'bout |-------|<that much harder
@ Met, You were overruled by others. I am a little dissapointed in you with your comment. You are normally helpful and friendly. Your comment achieves nothing. While the 50/50 pixelling is seen as amateur by many balls01 is improving all the time and this pixel in particualr is one of his best. Better than anything prior in a particular artist's gallery is ALWAYS added. Judging pixelart on a case by case, unique artist by unique artist is the best way and only sensible way to judge art.
