War :: Pixel Art Detail

I too wish to play it, but when you work in the game industry some of the best ideas get lost to the people that don't even play the game.  So make sure if you work for anyone get a contract every time the BT's (business types) give you anything, no exceptions!  This project was special for me and the BT's took it form me. As for the message under the preview. I believe that war is only terror and the statement " War on Terror or just terror" means that no matter which side you are on, you can't make a war on terror without creating terror yourself. Does that make sense?

that was a joke and you are right.  This was only the concept for a game I was comissioned for, the final game is something totally different.  Thanks for he comment:)

no, that's not a choice you can make and still make a game look good.  you'll need to have visual consistency one way of the other, and outline is a huge part of that.

cause their small people like newins from Willow you know, they don't need outlines

why does one side have outlines and the other doesn't ?

Why do you have a Mosque on the little picture and under it WARR ON TEEROR or just TERROR? Anyways, digging the style, just some messy shadows, doesnt match with the rest, some are darker as zi-double said but its cool. :) I could defenitly see myself playing that on cell :)

look at good and I like work ...

here are some thinks:
green soldiers have shadow in left and with dark colours and another objects have shadows in right else some objects as tanks haven't shadows. For me maybe greens need more contrast. Red car is too small in comparison with solders. For me ground is too flat ... As whole need contrast over the buildings but have too much contrast between black outlines of tanks, cars and soldiers and other elements and ground.

This is all very good, I just have some issues with the palm trees, there is little to no contrast on them. It makes them look a little to rushed. Also the oil silo or w/e that cylinder type building is needs a shadow on the ground, and if you adjust the colors a tad more, you can make it look a little more cylinder like.

Where is the building on the preview?! That is the coolest one! Good job though, I like this and would play it.

I wouldn't mind a couple of nasty looking Haji bodies liquefied on the ground.

I like the bar at the top of the screen showing the priorities in the game.  As opposed to the priorities in real life: freedom and liberty.
