In this case it does not matter if you made a painting of this sprite. Anything you submit to the Pixel Joint gallery must follow the rules.

I know I know, but when u say its ripped or stolen it feels like all I've done is steal it, I don't feel like I have tho. Ofc I understand what u mean.
Never thought I'd get a waring for it either,
And if I the intention was to steal anything from anyone, I don't think I would've steal the worlds most known SMW sprite and just do a palette swap, right?

Its just that i've never seen a super mario in this format. I've just seen it on paper or my own tellie. So i thought I'd make it in this form.

And I made it myself, not ripped...
