Sure thing! The white used in the G could be used as a highlight color to add depth, or it could be removed and replaced with that tan color. The darker purple shade is hardly noticeable at the original size (1x). You need great deals of contrast for small peices such as this.

Ok here you are. Lemme elaborate: The pink offers a variation in hue and makes the purple more visible. On a straight ramp, I had to shift to near back to get the same contrast as the pink, and the near-black purple made the picture look blurred. The white highlights give it depth or "pop".

I had a little fun detailing your character, but I think you were going for a simplistic style. Its still good for reference I suppose.
