It just started as me messing around with shapes in GraphicsGale, and it eventually evolved into this big thing.  It kinda reminds me of a boss you'd fight in the SNES Mega Man X games.

Very megaman x-ish, it reminds me a little to Spark Mandrill and a little to Sting Chameleon, like a fusion between both. Good job.
