The pixel technique here is pretty cool, the drawing itself, however is pretty scary-looking. Different parts of her face appear to be misaligned - the lips especially. The face looks swollen and lumpy because of that.
She looks like she have a pretty abusive husband or something... but i like the pixel-technique. I have allways liked the pixel style used in the background.
The diagonal pixelling was common among French pixellers many years ago and it just caught on. I always liked playing with different pixelling styles and used this one a few times. I never nailed it as well as the Frenchmen though.

Yes, the hairline is a bit odd, but that pattern of dithering helps smooth the skin texture out, fairly well. Quick question though; what is with most ex-demosceners and the frequent use of the diagonal(45 degree) bright pixeled lines, in their backgrounds, and also popping up intermittantly in the characters as well? Was there ever an actual purpose to this, or was it more so there just for pretty extra details?
