Made some Zelda sprites with the Vista Paint default palette. Done pretty much entirely from memory. Almost made link right-handed when I started...

Seems like everyone's done this at some point.

actually, you can't because they kicked me off  so I can't go near the site. But you can find it here:

Uh... that's weird. Because before reading this post just now, I'd never been on Zelda Fan Game Central :p Don't suppose I could get a link to where you saw it?

I'm... not quite sure what you're asking. Are you asking if you can post Zelda sprites to pixeljoint? Because you can't post anything up that you didn't make yourself.

Thnx for clarification Kaiseto, I guess when I think about it more, as it's a spritesheet, theres nothing bad about it. If these are not going to be used in game or animated, why not use some AA with the white BG.

'Cept black is used in some of the outlines. Looks weird to me...

These are well done and fun to inspect, especially the chicken. Although, anything Zelda gets automatic applause, right? hehe

Why let Microsoft of all companies dictate anything to do with art?

Did a quick edit, these sprites look great on black, very vibrant.

Sorry, the background stays. Pixeljoint has an unnatural fear of white backgrounds, but that's what it was designed on. A background too dark might look a bit odd with the sprites (especially black).

It's not like I haven't employed transparency before. In fact, I've employed it in almost every single piece I've ever uploaded to PJ, including my first. Sometimes a piece just calls  for a solid background color.

Link's emo O:

Love it, though. It seems to me that the vista pallete isn't all that bad. The colors aren't over-saturated after all.

Great use of colors.

Very cute style and all around nice sprites, but I'm with skooba-dude about the background.

Very nice sprites all together. I like the rupees, maybe take of the white background with http://www.iaza.com/xpages/xload.html?CURRENTFILE= Cause as far as I can see it's not really needed.
