Hello,
Two quick comments: First, never save your pixel art as a .jpg (unless you have the right program to do it with). Pixel art needs to have every pixel preserved, and .jpg is a "lossy" format. Second, it looks to me like you've edited this from Pokemon's original sprites. Though I know that sort of thing is completely acceptable in many communities, around here it is not allowed.
edit: Cure beat meh to it.
no sprite edits, no jpg quality, no white background unless needed.
