I find the ear area distracting - the hat looks to be cutting into his head or his ear is really long and pointy. Shirt is too pillow shaded looking... plan your light source first, then place your highlights and shadows. Here's a really helpful tutorial: kitted.deviantart.com/art/Pixel-Shading-Tutorial-47269811
a little better.

both are a must ;)
try to add some darker tones for the skin and use them for shadowing the nose.
Thank you for your advice, I'll try to do more relief and depth.
I have a problem, I do not really know how to improve the eyes and nose ...
the face is quite flat and I can see something resembling pillow shading. maybe adding one or more colors to give more depth to the piece can improve a lot (ie: enough to distinguish the nose and the chin from the bg)
using a ref picture can help a lot :)
The face details are almost completely lost! The over-all shape/image is unmistakeably Freddy though! The facial area just gets lost in the scars/bloody parts. A little more contrast to separate the areas would improve this.
Also ... the preview image is terrible!
