npa= Not Pixel Art. This is a cloudy subject, but at this site, we want to get to the heart or base principles of pixel art, and go from there. Basically, no use of automatic tools that don't give the user full control over the pixels he's drawing with. That means, no transparency tools(you can transparify a color completely, just not layer transparency, as that's adding unneeded, not to mention sloppy, pixel technique)....also, the preview is definitely npa, so I'm going to have to send back for revision...
thats exactly what i was afraid of when i read what this weeks "challenge" was on monday: crappy pixel art with a lousy transparent 2 minute glow effect on it. the preview thumb is just the bonus no-go.
*pressing the no-button. hard.
whoa... nice idea but her face definetly seems a little bit scrumbled... very picassesque ;)
as previously said: avoid NPA preview.
So if I repixel the word preview by hand and I repixel the glow by hand then I'll be good to go? By the way do not refer to peoples art as crap TOMIC. Try being respectful.
