-UPDATE- 8/4/09 - Added bigger image, little change in the pelvic region. This is Albatross, a conceptual character of mine, along with some others. Uses 4 colors from an NES palette. References are used below: [link] [link] In the conceptualized story Bions, Albatross is the antagonist for Xaero. Albatross was a war machine, a mechan or mechasoma, designed by a military organization as an application for military combat. But soon after a few weeks of experimental testing, the mechan went rouge, "rebelling" against the military. Albatross was equipped with the most advanced technology, perhaps anything no one has ever seen in use. Utilizing unique enhancements installed in the armor, it can move at high speed. Also equiped are two energy blades installed in the forearms (not shown), which helps Albatross to quickly strike any unit.

That's funny, I think vice-versa. But Shatterhand did have some good power-ups, though. Have you tried Metal Storm, Gimmick! (JP), or Journey To Silius? Metal Storm and Gimmick! are usually the two games I play more on an emulator. Journey To Silius and Gimmick! both have a killer soundtrack, though.

Shatterhand is excellent. Never did like Bionic Commando though, but Shatterhand I still play on the NES emulator on my PSP.

And I like this sprite a lot.

oh you are programmer?, well i can help you with that, well not me, but i knwo somebody who can help you :D... I did few things on nintendo (graphics) and the guy i know, did on code. If you want send me PM and we can share stuff and info :). He will be exite to know about more ppl doing this great stuff on nes :D... my nes graph are not that complex :(.

@ ui_ - I need to learn the NES' assembly language before I can try anything like that. But yeah, use it for something like Bionic Commando or Shatterhand. OR Double Dragon! XD

@onek - Thanks, the only thing, though, about the 1st link's sketch is the slightly shorter left arm.
