Yeah, I know, it's inspired by Wolverine's NES style game in development Hero C.F. So I thought, whatever, so here it is. They gots jet-paks and theys can fly. X3 From left: Geovonni, Brutor, Xaero. Yeah just edging their heads down one pixel might do it but it's not absolutely necessary. In my game the majority of character sprites of that scale are 16x16 but some of their action sprites break it for various purposes, like the main player's 8 way aiming.
