I like that whole animal-with-a-human-face thing, but people keep telling me it reminds them of Princess Mononoke, which I haven't seen, and The Endless Forest, which I have seen pics of but haven't played.

These are the bulls on my business cards, reduced to pixel form, and are a reference to an old Irish epic in which a queen starts a war over a bull. Silly queens.

I did some paintings too! I did a pair of bunnies that I was particularly pleased with but I haven't really finished it yet (or any of the others--they're painted on scrapbook paper and I'm having trouble finding a balance between letting the pattern show and concealing it with paint). I find myself giving them Noh eyebrows, like they're wearing tiny masks. Kindred spirits yay :D I'd like to see yours, just out of curiosity as to how we approached it differently. I am sure they were awesome too :D

Hey, this is neat. I just did a whole set of human-faced animal paintings a month ago, and it's nice to see another person who has them on the brain.

Mine were neither so cute or so charming, though.

I like the way you did the lower legs.
