j'ai pas mal changé de place au fil de ma jeunesse ^^; donc, à l'heure que j'écris, c'est normandie
Nice nebula effect! There's a lack of contrast I think though; it's quite washed out.
Impressive; good color conservation. There's something that feels slightly off about it though, it's almost like the various parts were drawn by different people because it's just not stylistically uniform somehow... also, the books could fade into the sand (?) in a way that looks more convincing, the two on the right anyway... are they even books?
If you posted only the bg, the piece would look better. The man and the chair are very weird.
aaah you right, sorry sorry sorry, i'll update it :)
Wow the WIP archive is impressive, there's concept art for all the pieces in the series. I didn't notice this one was a remake.
Link is wrong, it is at http://denissalem.tuxfamily.org/index/unReveSansToi-extra.zip (4.5 Mb)
I took the liberty of putting the individual WIP for this piece on iaza (expires in 30 days) :

The sky is particularly stunning, and I admire the gradient-shaded "wheel" on the left; it reminds me of games from Team 17 : Project X, still screens in Alien Breed, etc.
I have only one critic : In such a scene where the only lightsource is the moon, it's surprising that it doesn't cause any reflections anywhere. I kinda thought that the top of the chair, at least, would have a clear reflection spot.
No reference too for the man. I'm designer, so i had drew with tablet a sketch of the sitting man, in grafx2. The zip contain some sketch and previous works and, of caurse step by step. I'll don't host it again.
i mean the body of the man who is sitting in the chair. and i haven't seen the wip, downloading and unzipping is a bit too much work just to see a wip, i'm sure you can host it online somewhere.
no reference for the chair. As you can see in the wip, i didn't really knew how to draw it... :)
was a reference used for the sitting man? background looks great, man and chair aren't as successful.
Sligt pillow shading on the chair and his face, but the rest more than makes up for it.
Beautiful sky, might I add.
Background is awesome!
