Hey, welcome to Pixeljoint! I checked out your Deviantart page, I really enjoy your style. This piece definitely keeps true to your rough yet crisp appearence of your previous paintings. However, It might have trouble getting through the gallery because of it's roughness. I still would consider this pixel art, but it'll definitely help if you used less colors and made it a bit more refined (Get rid of the jagged pixels, smooth out the pixel clusters... ect.), though I do understand that this was a stylistic choice looking at your paintings. Maybe you could take this into the Pixeljoint forum and make a thread until Work In Progress and learn a bit from members! It'll definitely help you improve if you're interested in the pixel medium. Anyways, keep up the good work!
Aside from a few rough spots I think this is a good balance between being controlled but also having a loose feel to it. I don't see really painterly pixel art often but I like it.
One note about the preview thumbnail- If the full size version is larger than the 100x100 max thumbnail size then it's better to crop it than to shrink it, because shrinking pixel art causes the pixels to blur. At that point it's no longer what we'd call pixel art because it loses the qualities of human-placed pixels and adds extra colors. Your full size image has 73 colors but the thumbnail has 256.
