Making pixelart in Illustrator is never done as vectors and pixels are mortal enemies.
Creating pixelart in CS5 PS is cool so long as you use nothing but the pencil tool and some select tools where control is maintained and nothing with 'added' stuff.
Should you need it in the forum's resource section is a thread about setting up PS for pixel pushing or you can always PM me with any question you may have. Of special note is shutting down all anti-alialing and tolerance levels to "0" in all tools including the lasso, eraser, etc. 'Save for Web' output is always a safe backup to exporting as pixelart.
I have CS5, I created these in illustrator, though, I could do them in photoshop if that would work better. Thanks for the help!
I may be able to help you in pixelart file output. What program do you use?
Thanks. I think I'm saving them wrong. I'm trying to figure out the right way to do it.
Gracias. Creo que me estoy ahorrando que están equivocados. Estoy tratando de averiguar la forma correcta de hacerlo.
Tiene muchos colores para ser una pieza tan pequeña...sin embargo me encanta ;)
Thanks, I'm not sure why the vector/pixel "mortal enimies" didn't come to mind. That's very helpful.
