Thank you! I havn't been doing to much pixel art, but if I get around to finishing some more pixel projects I will certianly take your advice.

 First of all, I'd like to say this is a very unique idea! Anyways, I think this could really benefit from some outlines, even if they aren't pure black. Another suggestion would be to either darken the midtone or lighten your highlight; they're a little to close in value to each other, and it makes your piece kind of flat. Lastly, try looking up some painting/drawing tutorials on "core shadow". This will help you with value placement on the next project you create. Good luck! :)
