Some cracks and variation to the light/dark/light/dark pattern could help make it feel more natural. Here is a small edit that might help demonstrate that. imgur.com/JZMxEzl
I lightened up some of the darker lines to soften it some..
There is nothing wrong with your version at all...just experimenting for myself here. Yours looks awesome!
